My June Sessions

Okay since I have been out of school for the summer, my life has gotten even busier. With the addition of a 5th child, and the attention that all those children need during the day- I have been swamped! But I am very thankful :-) I am posting some favorites of my June sessions, and there are a few in here from the end of May. I think now that I have adjusted to my summer routine, maybe I will get back to blogging on a regular basis. I have been better at updating the facebook page, so if you are not a fan on there yet- please click the link and become a fan to get all the latest pics and specials.
Okay so here goes, in no particular order :-)

Jessica and Nick- I am so excited about doing there up and coming wedding in September! Aren't they just the cutest!

Baby Kaylee first dayview- such a little doll and I just love mom's red hair (of course my daughter has hair just like this )

This is Cooper- I looooove his blue eyes!

These two also have those baby blues and they just had the cutest expressions.
This is Kenley and Houston such cute names too!

This was little man Cody's 3 month session. So much personality packed into this little boy- just full of smiles for me!

Caroline is 1 year old! I have been doing pictures for her and her brother since her older brother was born. It is so fun to see the differences in them. When it was his smash the cake session, he didn't want anything to do with the cake- I had to smear some on his face to get a shot :) But Caroline just dove right in- she loved it!

Sweet little Chloe is 3 months old and just as cute as a button. I love her outfit!

Baby Porter made his newborn appearance and stayed awake the whole time!

I am so excited for this family! Baby Greer is on her way and will be here soon! I did Kristen and Ricky's wedding and now getting to do the maternity pics! And I will be doing Big sister Lauren's pics soon and then baby Greer :) Sooo Excited!

Easter Special!!!

I am so excited to offer this Easter Special- Don't we always get our kids the cutest Easter Outfits and then wish that we had their pictures made in it? I did a special similiar to this a couple of years ago, and the bunny was a big hit, but he was a borrowed bunny, and this year I am proud to say that I have my own cute bunny! He is soooooo sweet. He was a gift to my children at Christmas time and was lovingly named snowflake. This special is for a mini-session that includes an 8x10, 2 5x7's and 4 wallets.

There must be something about the name Marley- both of the babies that I photograph named Marley are always full of the most beautiful smiles! Well I love how these turned out, Marley Kate was so happy and just loved to sit and smile. Some pictures were just meant to be paintings and that is the way I feel about this first picture. This one is for anyone who I have done pics for in the last 3 years- and yes I still have everyones pics :) If you would like all of the pics from a sesion that we did on cd in a 4x6 size with the rights to print as many copies as you like- then this special is for you. These pics will be all of the ones from the proof book. This will also give you all the copies to put on your computer, facebook page etc. I am offering these cd's for $100. This time of year is so busy with everybody wanting
their pictures done in time for Christmas- I am a little
behind in my posting. These pictures are from a weekend
a few weeks ago. I did three beautiful families, one at the
family’s homeplace, and the other two at the beach. All of

to photograph him! We did this session in downtown

Red Level, and I LOOOOVE how they turned out.

I just look at pictures like these and smile- the

innocent looks, the playful moments, and the

mischeivious looks, all make up what childhood

is all about. How fortunate I am to be able to

capture it- unlocking art and beauty in the everyday.

Now that the wedding has come and gone I can

post pics from my new sister in laws bridal session

as well as from the wedding. That is always hard

for me to not post pics after a bridal shoot. Well, I

love how these turned out. The wedding was

beautiful and even though it was a little stressful

having 3 children in the wedding as well as being

the photographer- it was worth it. Congratulations

for a long time, we are actually distant cousins,

so when they asked me to do their wedding,

Family Beach Pictures

August 22-23

Well it has taken me over a week to post these

latest favorites, and I know that you have been

patiently waiting. I had 5 sessions this weekend,

one of which was a bridal so I will not be able to

post until after the wedding, but needless to say

I have been very busy. I really enjoyed all of these

sessions. I got to take Nathan's 5 year pictures,

met a new little girl named Caroline- just precious,

and then got to hang out with Olivia and Carson

for a little while, followed by cousins Natalie and Jack.

We had lots of fun as you can see from the pictures.

I just love all of my pictures sessions- that is why

When we did Courtney's senior model session at the horse farm we had planned on going on to another location and doing a few shots in this really cute outfit that she had. The colors in her outfit just popped with the colors at the depot. Well we ran out of daylight that day and so she came another day that I already had another session at the depot, and we got some really cute shots in this outfit. Some of you may be wondering why the latest blog pictures are not showing up on my website home page slideshow- well I am a little frustrated about this. My slideshow has reached a full capacity of 1000 pictures. I am going to have to build a new slideshow to play on that page and just pick out one or two from each session to go on the new slideshow. The new ones will continue to be here on the blog and on facebook, but I am going to be working on a new homepage slideshow. Hope everyone is having a great week!

I did these precious newborn pictures last weekend of sweet Caroline- Isn't she perfect!!
She was 8 days old here and soooo beautiful. I have been taking pictures of Caroline's older brother Connor all this past year and watching him grow up, and I am very excited about getting to see her grow up too. I am a little late posting- so much going on, my Elizabeth broke her big toe the other day, and they ended up putting a hard cast on her foot and all the way up to her knee. I will have to post some pics of my baby with her cast soon- she only has to wear it for 2 weeks (thank goodness). Axton's 18 month photo session

How cute is that face? I just loved the expressions that little Axton had in store for me- the blue eyes and the curiosity. I had the most fun- he enjoyed my smarties candies, but his favorite part was the puddle jumping fun there at the end. He actually cried when we were done. I can't blame him- It was a lot of fun! South Alabama Pediatrics

Dr. Bang has been my children's doctor for 7 years now. I have recently taken pictures for him and his staff. He won the award of Pediatric Hero from the AAP.

I am working on a new black and white collection of photos that will soon hang on the walls of his doctor's office. I am very excited. Baby Max

I am going to be an new Aunt soon :). My husband's sister Kelly is having a baby boy this summer. Kelly is an ultrasound technician, so little baby in her belly has had his picture made many times already. He is going to be a natural poser from birth- I just know it. They have decided to name him Max, and I can't wait to meet him! She and her husband live in Wilmington NC, so I won't get to see him as often as I like, but we will be getting together as often as possible, and of course I will take lots of pictures. We went up to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago to "Grandma's" house. There we had a wonderful baby shower, and I was very glad that I got to go and take these pictures. Kelly is such a enthusiastic first time mother, and Trevor is going to be such a great hands on dad. I am very excited for them. Here are some candid shots from the shower.

Now that the wedding has come and gone, I get to share these beautiful images from the bridal session and the wedding. Despite the worry we got from the weather, everything turned out amazing, and the excitement just adds to the memory. My daughter's tee-ball game got canceled tonight, so I jumped on the chance to go photograph my girls showing off some of the new outfits that I got for the studio. I have just recently invested in a huge wardrobe of dress-up clothes. I have been slowly building a collection of clothing for kids of all ages- seniors, as well as wraps and gowns for mothers to be. I think that everybody likes to dress up, and deciding on the perfect picture outfit can be tough- so with these two thoughts in mind I built my wardrobe. Now you can come in and go through my wardrobe and pick out dress-up clothes. For boys I have some cool hats, layered shirts, vests, and jackets. For girls I have lots of tutu's, frilly full skirts, hats, scarfs, and so much more! I also just last week got a new loveseat. I have had my eye out for some cool new furniture, and in my free time (ha) I love going to second had and antique stores (as well as yard sales, malls, etc- okay I like to shop). So as I was on my way home from teaching school the other day, I spyed loveseat that I instantly had to have. I am so excited, and once summer gets here I hope to complete the remodeling at the studio that has been a work in progress for over a year. I am still on the lookout for a green or gold velvet chair, as well as a nice leather bench or seat. If you know of one somewhere- let me know.

WANTED: 2010 Senior Models

Okay here is the senior model campaign that I have been talking about! SO EXCITED

Attention all High School Juniors! If you are graduating in 2010 and you are currently a high school junior you could become a high school rep for Newman's Photography!

Here are all the details:
What is a Senior Rep?
You will be a model for Newman's Photography and a spokesperson for my studio.
You will pass out rep cards with your own photos on them to your friends and get them excited about senior pictures! These senior pictures are going to be edgy, fun, fashion forward, so you will be excited about them and WANT to show them off!

These sessions will give you the chance to show off your personality. I have lots of cool fashion ideas, and invite new trendy ideas, and creativity.

If chosen What will you receive?
2 Free Sessions & lots of other goodies.
The first session will be a mini-model session for promo material you will be passing out to friends, this session will be completed by in June or July. Your second session will be completed in the fall and will be a full blown senior studio session.
I have a great program where you can earn prints & prizes for promoting my studio.
*There will be a fun competition between the reps and whoever wins will get a HUGE surprise!

Who is eligible?
Any High School Junior (upcoming Senior) that will be graduating in 2010. I would love to have outgoing, fun Reps that are excited about promoting unique senior pictures!
I will be accepting 2 REPS from each of the following schools:

I LOVE the location ( this was my 3rd time here- I have been doing pictures for members of this family for over a year). This time I got to visit a giant oak tree.
